In the summer of 2020, I created a test panel featuring three din rails to mount various electronics on for future experimentation. I currently have a 24V/1A power supply mounted which feeds to an Allen Bradley Micro820 PLC controller. In an effort to improve my ladder logic programming skills and learn more about PLCs, a fireworks control test will be undertaken this Spring, coupled with a prerecorded presentation, to demonstrate the basics of PLCs and reliability engineering to members of Drexel's Theme Park Engineering and Design Group (TPED).
